- Price Information

The total price payable for the goods will be stipulated at the time when you place
your order whether or not the order has been confirmed. All prices are inclusive
of VAT @ 17.5%. We are entitled to make adjustments to the price to take account
of any increase in our supplier's prices or the imposition of any taxes or duties.
Prices may be subject to change if the price published for the goods is wrong. In
all cases we will inform you of the correct price and give you the opportunity to
cancel the order. From time to time our prices may be different if you are directed
to our site via a third party site. Prices / offers may differ from our Retail
Shops.

Accepted methods of payment are: Visa, MasterCard and Maestro. You must provide
us with the exact billing address and telephone number, that your credit / debit
card provider / bank has on file for you. Incorrect information will cause a delay

- Recycling - WEEE DTB Scheme

SSE Retail are a member of Government's WEEE DTB Scheme (Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment Distributor Take Back).
The simple way to find out if a new electrical item can be recycled is to look for the "crossed out wheelie bin" sign on either the item itself
or its packaging - that means you shouldn't throw it away but instead make sure it's properly recycled. To find your nearest

- Delivery

- Charges
All prices on our website are exclusive of delivery charges. The delivery charge
will be calculated and confirmed at the checkout. Delivery prices quoted are for
a single delivery attempt to a UK address only. Additional delivery attempts will be charged at original value.
- Times
Your delivery dates will be confirmed at the checkout
or by telephone by one of our customer service representatives. We will
endeavour to deliver goods within the times stated. On occasion goods are
subject to availability and delay in delivery of goods is sometimes outwith
our control (i.e. direct delivery from manufacturer / third party courier).
Any dates we specify for the delivery of the goods are approximate only and
we shall not be liable for any losses, costs, damages, charges, or expenses
caused by any delay for delivery of the goods. If

our suppliers are temporarily out of stock, we will notify you of this position
as soon as reasonably practicable. For delays of more than 30 days from the date
of your order, you will have the right to cancel the order and we will refund any
money paid by you for the goods.
- Risk
On receipt of the goods to your specified address, you will be responsible for them. We will only deliver goods to the address on the order.
It is your responsibility to unpack and check your goods before you sign for them.. If you discover any transit damage, shortages or incorrect goods
please reject the delivery with the carrier and notify us within 24 hours of delivery. Ownership of goods will be transferred to yourself at the
point of signature therefore any loss or damage shall be at your own risk from the time of receipted delivery.
- Claims
If goods arrive in a damaged condition you must make a note on the carrier's delivery consignment note and it will be your responsibility to
inform us within 24 hours from delivery. It is your responsibility to sign for the correct number of packages as shown on the carrier's delivery
consignment note. Any shortages must be noted on the consignment note and it will be your responsibility to notify us within 24 hours from delivery.
If we supplied you with a product other than ordered it is your responsibility to notify us of any incorrect goods supplied within 24 hours from
delivery.

not accept liability for goods lost in transit unless we are notified within 24
hours from the expected delivery date.
If goods returned under this clause are found to be perfect and in full working
order, these will be returned to you and an administration fee of 15% of the price
of the goods along with the cost of carriage will be charged to you.

- Guarantees

Please retain your receipt as proof of purchase (guarantee). The order confirmation
E-mail that you receive when you shop on the site will serve as the receipt for
your purchase. All products supplied are covered by the terms and conditions of
the manufacturers guarantee for a minimum period of 12 months, however, some appliances
contain components that are guaranteed for periods longer than 12 months. If this
is the case (details will be supplied with your appliance), the component will be
free of charge during the period of guarantee, however, you will be charged for
any labour required to install the component. A manufacturers guarantee specifically
excludes faults caused by accident, neglect, and misuse. In addition routine maintenance
(cleaning of dirty audio/video heads etc.), consumables (styli, plug fuses, cables,
batteries, etc.), cosmetic damage and tuning of channels are not covered. This does
not affect your statutory or common law rights.

appliances stay in working order without you having to face expensive repair bills!

HydroCare will take care of repair or replacement of functional parts, including
all labour charges, should your appliance fail to operate as a result of breakdown.

HydroCare also gives you:

- New For Old For Life - No matter how old your appliance is, so long as you continue
your protection, if it cannot be fixed - you will get a brand new appliance;
- Comprehensive Protection - If your appliance breaks down it gets repaired. If it
is damaged by accident (protection begins when you buy the plan) it gets repaired.
If it can't be repaired you get a brand new appliance;
- Up To 5 Years Protection - You can choose to protect your new purchase for either
3 or 5 years (including the manufacturer's guarantee). At the end of the initial
period, you can normally renew the protection for the lifetime of the appliance;
- No Limit To The Number of Repairs - There are no limits to the number of repairs
you can have under the plan;
- Qualified Repair Agents - No searching for qualified repairers. One telephone call
will ensure you get the details of a qualified engineer. Plus, there are no bills
to pay as the repair agents normally bill Domestic & General Services direct.

- Refunds and Exchanges

You have the right to cancel your order within 7 working days from
the day after the day on which the goods were received. You must notify us by e-mail / in writing of your intention to
cancel within 7 working days from the day after the day on which the goods were received. The following conditions apply:-

- Goods must be returned with the original packaging, “AS SOLD”, with all
components and accessories.
- Goods must be complete and been taken adequate care of (i.e. if you
have opened the box to examine the product it must have been done without
damaging the product or packaging in any way).
- Any "FREE GIFTS" with the products must also be returned in good condition.
- We are unable to accept returns of the following items: Opened
Pre-recorded videotapes, DVDs, CDs, Minidiscs, games and software. In
addition, we will not accept return of goods which were of a special order
to the customer's specification, or if, products with contract services that
have been connected (i.e mobile phones).

You must organise the return the unwanted items at your own expense and risk. Returns
cannot be accepted without prior authorisation. The returns authorisation is valid
for up to 14 days only. Goods sent back without prior returns authorisation will
be returned back to you and the cost of delivery will be invoiced to you.

You will receive a refund equivalent to the full cost of the goods plus delivery
charges (if not previously refunded).

If any rights available to SSE Retail Ltd under these terms and conditions are waived
on one occasion, this does not mean that those rights will automatically be waived
on any subsequent occasions.

If any of these provisions should be determined unlawful, invalid or otherwise unenforceable
by reason of law then, to the extent and within the jurisdiction which that provision
is found to be unlawful, invalid or unenforceable, then that provision shall be
deleted and shall not affect the validity and enforceability of the remaining provisions
which shall continue to be binding and in force.
